✅ 1. Know Which School(s) You Want to Transfer To
- Have you researched schools?
Take a look at the UC/CSU schools you’re interested in. What’s their GPA requirement? What majors do they offer? - Do you know their admission requirements?
Each school has its own transfer guidelines. Know exactly what they need from you.
✅ 2. Review Your General Education (GE) Requirements
- Which GE pattern are you following?
CSU GE Breadth or IGETC for UC—pick the right one based on where you’re transferring. - Have you finished the Golden Four (for CSU)?
These are crucial for your CSU transfer: English, Math, Oral Communication, and Critical Thinking.
✅ 3. Track Your Units & GPA
- Are you on track to complete 60 units?
Check your unit progress. If you’re behind, consider summer or intersession classes to catch up. - Is your GPA strong enough for transfer?
